Sacramento: December 6th- A Holiday Horror Film and Variety Show

Merry Scary Winter Horrorland: A Holiday Horror Film & Variety Show screams into action on Saturday, December 6th, 2008 from 1PM to Midnight.

The 2008 Merry Scary Winter Horrorland screams into action on Saturday December 6th 2008. For those on the Naughty List, a mere $20 allows you to celebrate the holidays by watching holiday horror films all day at Colonial Theatre 3522 Stockton Blvd. in Sacramento. Hold onto your ticket and you may come and go as you please!

The Sacramento Horror Film Festival (SHFF) presents this all day film festival featuring independent holiday horror films with titles such as Killer Claus, Zombie Christmas, Treevenge, Stagman, Axemas-accre, Something for Santa, Left Overs, Thankskilling, Coming to Town, and the original 1974 slasher classic Black Christmas.

To break the monotony of all day film viewing Merry Scary will host between film programs burlesque dance by Jezabelle Army, twisted stand up comedy by Sacramento’s very own John Ross (Co-Exist Comedy Tour), and sketch comedy by local comedy troupe ICUP. You can even take photos with Ho-Ho-Horrible Santa.

This all day Merry Scary event will be hosted by Cinema Insomnia’s Mr. Lobo and the Queen of Trash.

Gift donations accepted for the Sacramento Children’s Home. A $5 discount will be applied to your admission with your donation. See the list below for acceptable donations.

Sponsored by R5 Records, Hope Photographers, and Relentless Tattoo & Gallery.

Hours: 1pm to Midnight
